Ye Guoyong, a master chef, retired to a local restaurant. With his efforts, the restaurant became well-known. His ex-girlfriend, Zhou Cuifen, bought the restaurant and, instigated by his apprentice, fired him. Zhao Liping, the female boss of Tianquan Hotel, invited him to make a comeback. Ye Guoyong, as a master chef, helped the hotel recover and developed feelings for Zhao Liping during their interaction. After his identity as a master chef was exposed, Zhou Cuifen tried in vain to win him back, and Ye Guoyong finally joined hands with Zhao Liping.
